Today, Hank Reinhardt will join us for an interview and demonstrations exploring his expertise- the testing of blades. As a long time specialist in arms, armor, and historical combat with more than 45 years experience, Reinhardt is also the founder of wildly successful Museum Replicas, Ltd. We look forward to the expertise Reinhardt can add to Reclaiming the Blade.

A bit about Hank Reinhardt:

Reinhardt was founder and director of Museum Replica’s Fight Demonstration Team. Later he began HACA (Historical Swordsmanship and Medieval and Renaissance martial arts) as an alliance of individuals and study groups focused solely on the function and use of historical weapon. Hank maintains an extensive private collection of authentic antique swords and has traveled the world’s leading arms museums culsulting amoung its curators for research.

In the past, Reinhardt used his knowledge, insight, and practical hands-on experience to supervise the production of many of the weapons offered through the Museum Replicas Limited catalog. Over the years he has written numerous articles and lectured extensively on Medieval and Renaissance arms and historical fighting. He is also an accomplished marksman, an expert in knife fighting and is currently preparing a major book on the subject of swords, as well as a series of instructional videos.
