The Soundtrack

Galatia Films has teamed up with some brilliant songwriters and bands to create a very unique soundtrack for Reclaiming the Blade that celebrates the rediscovery of pop music. Combine this with a Hollywood orchestral score by David James Nielsen and it’s a mighty compilation worth checking out. Soundtrack to be available on Lakeshore Records. Artists involved include:

>> Doves >> Julianna Hatfield >> Triskela >> Adam Franklin >>Dandy Warhols >> Swervedriver >> Yo La Tengo >> My Bloody Valentine >> Ivy >> Aurah >> Daniel McNicoll >> Spiritualized >> Explosions in the Sky >> Morcheeba >> Mew

Galatia Films is proud to enlist the talent of Adam Franklin of Swervedriver (EMI) and Toshack Highway for the Reclaiming the Blade Soundtrack. Franklin has written several variations of unreleased material exclusive to the soundtrack. Rumor has it that a specific tune may become a central theme for the film. Be sure and visit Franklin’s My Space page to hear some of his more recent music.

Adam is in good company as Galatia Films continues developing the RTB Soundtrack. Music coordinator Peter Iselin of Solo Management has taken on the project and there are talks of a possible soundtrack record to be released along with David James Nielsen’s orchestral score. "The bands fit real well into the cut," explains Galatia producer Sam Hilgers, "and we were very happy to have Peter on board representing us, ultimately bringing everyone together for what we hope will be a very successful soundtrack."
