Experience in the music industry has given Daniel McNicoll a unique perspective as a director, enabling him to explore the convergence of music and film. In New York City as a solo artist he was accepted into the CMJ Music Marathon two straight years. As a screenwriter, he has equally proven his talents. The LA-based ScriptShark has described his writing as both "original and engaging with strong market value." While finding inspiration during the filmmaking and writing process, Daniel has discovered the true advantage of allowing music to help tell the story. As a director with a strong passion for history, he intends to explore the symbolic nature of the sword.
